A lawyer and a coder have created an algorithm to write every melody in western music and released it all free of copyright to expose the ludicrous nature of copyright laws. Damien Riehl (the lawyer) and Noah Rubin (the coder) stumbled upon the idea in a random conversation. It turned from “a thought experiment” to a potential defense of all things musical and artistic. Jamf has released a new survey today titled The Impact of Device Choice on the Employee Experience. Among other findings, Jamf reports that about three-quarters of employees picked iPhone, iPad, or Mac over competing options when given a choice. Jamf’s March 2018 survey is based on responses from 580 executives, managers, and IT professionals. It is important to note that Jamf’s business is selling management software for Apple products. Wizards of the Coast is making a huge change to MTG Arena Historic card redemption just weeks before the format launches on the digital platform, reverting the format’s proposed wildcard redemption system to a one-for-one exchange like the Standard format currently has rather than the two-for-one setup that was initially announced. MTG Arena is adding Historic to help support players who had concerns over their Standard cards rotating out of the format and being worthless - in some games, like Hearthstone, older cards can be converted into currency, but MTG Arena has no such system....

Netflix’s new reality competition series The Circle has taken off in a serious way and became an instant smash hit.
