A new live-action One Piece television show is in development, courtesy of the streaming giant Netflix. One Piece is one of the most cherished and profitable manga series of all-time, selling over 450 million copies around the world. Appearing in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997, the manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda remains active and ubiquitous to this day, with a media empire spanning across all forms of entertainment....

Originally demoed at the iPad Pro event in October, an update for NBA 2K Mobile is now available as a free download on iOS. The company says this update “delivers console quality graphics”, likely playing off of Apple’s claim of Xbox One S-level graphics with the A12X Bionic in the latest generation iPad Pros. Users will now be able to compete in 5v5 match-ups with console quality graphics, as well as play with over 400 players and all of the usual modes that come with the game....

In a post on its community forums this weekend, Netgear is advising Arlo users to change their account passwords. While the company doesn’t believe its own systems have been impacted, it says attackers appear to be using credentials obtained from a third-party to access accounts… In the post, Netgear says it “recently observed suspicious activity potentially impacting Arlo accounts.” The company goes on to say that attackers are attempting to gain access to Arlo accounts using credentials obtained from an “unknown third-party party....

Nvidia confirmed today that it is acquiring chip designer Arm from SoftBank for $40 billion. Notably, Apple licenses technology from Arm Holdings for the A-series processors used in the iPhone and iPad, as well as the upcoming Apple Silicon chips for Mac. Reports first suggested that SoftBank was mulling a sale of Arm Holdings back in July. Now, the deal has been made official. While Samsung has so far had the exclusive contract for flagship OLED iPhone screens, we learned last November that this is set to change – with LG coming on board as a second supplier for the iPhone 12 lineup. LG currently only makes displays for iPhones with LCD screens, along with a small number of OLED ones for older models. A new report out of Korea claims to have more details and says that LG has received orders for up to 20M OLED screens for this year’s iPhones, with Samsung picking up the remaining 55M orders....
