In the runup to the movie’s release on October 9th, Aaron Sorkin’s “Steve Jobs” film is currently airing a new trailer on TV. The trailer shows Michael Fassbender, who plays Jobs, pedantically setting up product launches interspersed with scenes of him criticizing others and others criticizing him. Netgear says it is tracking issues related to using HomeKit accessories with its Orbi mesh routers. Apparently, a recent firmware updated was intended to fix an issue with Google Home integration but accidentally broke the Apple HomeKit protocol in the process. The vulnerability is also known as “Baron Samedit.” It was discovered in January 2021 by security auditing firm Qualys and fixed at the end of that month with the release v1.9.5p2.
