HMD Global has released press invites for a new phone they are launching. The event will be held next month on April 2 in Taiwan. It will be Nokia’s first phone to come with a punch hole camera. Nokia 9 Pure View will also be revealed in the event, as it hasn’t been launched in Taiwan yet. Though the X6 was launched as Nokia 6.1 Plus in International markets, but, according to some rumours, the X71 will be launched as Nokia 8.1 Plus.

According to the press invites, the phone will have a 48 MP rear camera along with a second lens for 120° ultra wide shots. Both lenses will be from Zeiss Optics, so it will be interesting to see how it will compete against Sony’s IMX586 and Samsung’s GM1 camera sensors. Nokia 9 Pure View is currently Nokia’s best camera phone, and the X7 might even outperform it. But it is too early to guess all this, so lets rather wait for the launch event.

Talking about other specifications of the phone, it will have a 6.22-inch Full HD+ display. The display will also have a punch hole camera in the top left corner. Other specifications of this phone aren’t known yet. But as usual, the specs could get leaked anytime soon so keep an eye on us for any future updates.
