This weekend, Netflix is bringing new seasons of a family comedy, a supernatural horror series, and a new sci-fi drama series. Although the world of streaming keeps getting more crowded and competitive with the arrival of new subscription services, life at Netflix continues its course, and the platform keeps adding new movies and TV shows every week, so there’s always something new to watch.
Last week, Netflix added movies like Get Him To The Greek, Hop, and Legend, as well as new content with the comedy series The Healing Powers of Dude, the animated series Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, the sixth season of Grace & Frankie, and the second season of Sex Education. The platform is taking it easier with licensed content this week, and its most notable addition is the biographical drama The Queen – so you can have a double dose of royalty along with the series The Crown.

Family Reunion - part 2
Family Reunion premiered on July 2019 and the second part of season 1 is finally available to stream on Netflix this weekend. The series follows the McKellans, who travel from Seattle, Washington, to Columbus, Georgia, for the McKellan Family Reunion and decide to stay a bit longer to be closer to their family – which, as you can imagine, doesn’t always go well. Part 1 saw the McKellans considering going back to Seattle after a bad encounter with a racist cop, but part 2 will see them staying, preparing for Cocoa and Moz’s second wedding, and more.
October Faction
Netflix’s October Faction is a sci-fi drama series based on the comic series of the same name by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. It follows the story of monster hunters Fred (J.C. MacKenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor), who return to their hometown with their children Geoff and Viv after the death of Fred’s father. Once there, Fred and Deloris hide their identities, but their children eventually discover what they truly are, as well as some talents of their own.
Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina - part 3
The third part of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is finally on Netflix this weekend, and there are a lot of questions that need answers. By the end of part 2, the Church of Night was almost destroyed, with Blackwood fleeing with his twin son and daughter, and Zelda declaring herself as the High Priestess. Meanwhile, Nick sacrificed himself as prison for the Dark Lord and Sabrina was granted two gifts, of which the second remains a mystery. Part 3 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will see Sabrina trying to keep balance between hell, the coven, the mortal world, Greendale, and her personal life. Nobody said being Queen of Hell was going to be easy.
