Today’s gadgets are getting automatic with each passing day. Not only smartphones, but smart TVs are also getting automated functions. One of which is the automatic brightness control. Samsung smart TVs come with the Eco Sensor feature. It can self adjust the screen brightness by sensing the light in the room. It is similar to the auto-bright feature we see on iPhones and Android devices.

Some people who are new to smart TVs may not get an idea of how to control this feature. Users may wish to keep the brightness of the TV screen constant for all lighting conditions. They may not like the display brightness going up and down now and then when more than one light is lighting the room. In this guide, I will explain to you how to control the Samsung TV screen brightness.

Normally, with the Eco Sensor feature in action, the screen will be bright in a room with bright lights. The screen will become dark if the lighting condition is dark. To control this manually, you have to turn the Eco Sensor on or off as per your need. Here’s how to do it.

  • Go to the Screen Menu
  • from there navigate to System > under that go to Eco Solution
  • There you will see the Eco Sensor feature
  • select On or Off according to your requirement.

So, that’s how you can control the automatic brightening or dimming of the Samsung TV screen. I hope that this guide was useful to you. If you like to have a constant brightness on your TV display, then disable Eco Sensor using the steps above.
