Lately Motorola’s Android One device, the One power has been making a lot of hype. It is the first such phone from the OEM that brings near stock Android experience for the users. Apparently, the One Power has found its way to China as well. However, it is using a different nomenclature and goes by the name Motorola P30 Note. Interestingly, the Chinese variant doesn’t use stock Android. The obvious reason for this is the scuffle between China and Google. Apparently, with Motorola P 30 Note you will not get Google services.
P 30 Note is using the ZUI 4.0 user interface which was used in the now discontinued ZUK smartphones. Well, this is not the first smartphone to do so. Earlier Lenovo Z5 also used the ZUK interface.
The Motorola P30 Note has the same specs as One Power. It packs a Snapdragon 636 chipset from Qualcomm. Users get an option for two types of RAM of 4 and 6 GB. The stock internal storage is of 64 GB and it is expandable upto 128 GB. The device brings an LCD display of 6.2” with a pixel resolution of 2246 X 1080 and a tall aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Needless to mention, a notch houses itself atop the P30 Note. A fingerprint scanner resides itself on the metal back panel.
In the camera section, there is the dual lens of 16 MP + 5 MP on the rear end and a selfie shooter of 12 MP with fixed focus. The front face lens supports AI beauty features. A dual tone LED-flash also accompanies the set-up. A 5,000 mAh battery powers up the Motorola P30 Note. This device costs CNY 1,999 if you go for the 4/64 GB model. It’s bigger sibling the 6/64 GB variant bears a price tag of CNY 2,299. P 30 Note is available in only one color option which is Midnight Black.
Though it doesn’t bring the stock Android experience, it has other features of a decent mid-range. So, we hope it will mark its presence in the Chinese smartphone market.
