Netflix has just updated its iOS app with a nicer user interface following an overhauled Android app from a month ago. Netflix version 2.0 with a prettified appearance is now available in all regions, Netflix said, including the United States, Canada and Latin America. The new interface provides access to twice as many television shows and movies available for streaming. Interestingly, the app is now available in Latin America for both the iPhone and iPad just as Apple announced the arrival of both the iTunes Store with iTunes Match in Latin America and Apple TV in Brazil....
As expected, Nintendo this evening announced that it is bringing Animal Crossing to iOS and Android next month. The game is called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and it brings many of the things gamers love about the Animal Crossing franchise to mobile devices, with a few new twists… Nintendo made the announcement during a Direct presentation this evening and has since launched pre-registrations for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Several users on the Apple Support Forum have reported lower battery life on their computers after installing OS X Mountain Lion. The thread began July 25 with many users theorizing the loss of battery life could be due to ramped up CPU usage, network fetching, or perhaps Spotlight search indexing. A new animated Ghost in the Shell project is moving forward, following the release of the live-action film adaptation. The latter movie is currently on its way to becoming one of 2017’s bigger box office failures.
